A special single cake release for our good friends and longtime supporters across the Sound at High Spirits. They've always shown great taste in single malt whiskey and this ex-bourbon cask filled with a new make spirit made from a mash of 100% Washington State Select pale malt is another great selection.

FLAVOR PROFILE

The nose is very round with notes of sugar-glazed pears, fresh plum and a touch of pink peppercorn behind it all. The palate at cask strength tingles with fresh grapefruit pith, plum wine and pear tart as the malt finally makes an appearance. A water addition brings out notes of buttery chardonnay while the palate sees more lightly toasted nuts balancing out the bright fruit.
